Europe Day with "History Keepers"

“Media Voice” celebrated Europe Day on May 6, in frame of the EU funded project “History Keepers”. Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia Pawel Herczynski visited Expo Georgia, where "Media Voice" discussion panel host the following speakers:

  • Teona Tskhomelidze, “Media Voice” executive director, “History Keeper”; topic: disinformation and technologies in a modern era;

  • Sidonia Nun, artist and human rights defender, “History Keeper”; topic: Facing tomorrow in Ukraine and Georgia;

  • Mariam Gersamia, “Media Voice” founder, professor (TSU), media program manager at Transparency International Georgia; topic: Effect of media, disinformation and conspiracy theories;

  • Maia Toradze, “Media Voice” chairwoman, associated professor (TSU), topic: why solidarity journalism?



Media Voice conducted a project "Solidarity Journalism for Peace and Security"

under the series of "History Keepers",

funded by the European Union within its Eastern partnership Civil Society Fellowship Programme (with support of the EaP fellow Mariam Gersamia, “Media Voice” founder)
